Project Management

The Project Kick-off starts with assembling the team.   LMS assigns both a Project Leader and a Client Service Representative to each client.  The client assigns the appropriate counterparts.   Typically, there will be technical leads and functional leads for each aspect of the LMS implementation process.

The scheduled project meetings will coordinate and assure:

Data Conversion

Converting your electronic data into LMS is a integral component of the LMS services. We coordinate all aspects of the data conversion to ensure a successful implementation.  Unlike some competitors, Rippe & Kingston utilizes our internal conversion team vs. outsourcing your information to a third party.  This will assure you that the conversion team has the experience with converting legal and financial data as well as eliminating any potential risks by introducing another vendor.  Rippe & Kingston has converted from over 21 different vendors in the industry including: Elite, ProLaw, Juris, Orion, Omega, Rainmaker, Javelin, Timeslips, Tabs, QuickBooks and others.

Rippe & Kingston converts a "Complete History" of your financial data.  If the client has electronic history, we convert it.   The conversion also includes non-financial information like docket, conflicts, records and client relationship management systems.   Rippe & Kingston will perform 2 Full conversions (preliminary and final) with no parallel or duplicate work required by the accounting staff.

Rippe & Kingston offers a multitude of resources to help users learn all about LMS – every step of the way.

From the very beginning, our Clients receive the attention and care they deserve. Our Installation Project Managers are often onsite for hands-on training during implementation, while our dedicated Client Service Representatives are available to continue the firm's education over time.  Virtual support from our LMS Help Desk representatives is also an important means for learning about the LMS software.

In addition to person to person assistance, Rippe & Kingston provides a variety of publications, videos, webinars, and presentations regarding specific LMS modules, as well as LMS Best Practices.   Clients can conveniently access the Rippe & Kingston Publications repository, which includes archived articles and newsletters.
