Client Success: Southeastern Container

Rippe & Kingston Client: Southeastern ContainerSoutheastern Container uses the METHOS primarily to maintain Inventory and Purchasing operations establishing the METHOS Purchasing module as a 'stand alone' entity. The plant, located in Enka, North Carolina, runs at a 100% production rate 24 hours a day producing 20 oz, 2 liter and 3 liter plastic bottles for the Coca-Cola bottling company.

The Storeroom operations can be credited for implementing a very aggressive inventory control system that is capable of performing a 100% inventory on all items issued throughout a normal workday.

Prior to the implementation of METHOS, Southeastern Container had a working purchasing system, however, it was somewhat cumbersome and generated tremendous amount of paperwork.

Southeast Container has since implemented an elaborate "Paperless" Purchasing system using the METHOS Purchasing module. A Purchase Request "Signature Control" provides for an electronic Purchase Request "Approval" process that allows the user to route purchase requests manually through to "Approval" or allow for automatic routing of Purchase Requests for signature control .

METHOS is a comprehensive Plant and Facility Management System for the IBM System i platform.  Based on LANSA technology, it delivers 5250, Client Server, Browser and Portal Solutions.
